Over 20 years of Experience Providing Counselling in Schools.
KCS has a proven track record of successfully supporting children and young people in over 30 primary and secondary schools and alternative provisions across Kent, London and Essex. We recognise that every school is different. That is why we offer a tailored approach to our service which meets the requirements of pupils, staff and senior leadership objectives.
Our therapists belong to The British Association Of Counselling and Psychotherapy A fully qualified and registered lead counsellor will work with you in your school, offering individual and group talking or play therapies.
Our counsellors know that successful counselling involves an awareness of the context in which this occurs. A strong partnership with the school and relationships with the staff teams are key elements of achieving our whole school approach. We will work closely with your pastoral, SENDCo and safeguarding leads by sharing appropriate knowledge and insights whilst maintaining the boundary of client confidentiality. This ensures young people are supported at different levels both within school and outside.
